Highlights of Mykonos Tour

After meeting at the port, we’ll begin our journey with a visit to the historic Armenistis Lighthouse. Built in 1891, this 19-meter-tall structure stands on Fanari Hill, offering stunning views of the Aegean. Its construction was prompted by the tragic sinking of an English steamer in 1887, which claimed the lives of 11 crew members. The area, once known as Vourvoulakas, meaning “vampire,” holds both historical and mythical intrigue.

After visiting Armenistis Lighthouse, the tour continues from the port of Mykonos, offering a fresh perspective of the island. The first stop is a must-see viewpoint for capturing panoramic photos of Mykonos Town. Next, we visit the charming port of Agios Ioannis, named after a historic church dedicated to Saint Ioannis. Here, you can explore the church and its Saint’s cell, a site of annual fairs, while enjoying the serene harbor where local fishing boats find shelter from the island's strong winds.

Next, we head to Mykonos Airport for a panoramic view of the runway, with a chance to spot planes taking off or landing. From there, we journey to Ano Mera Village, passing through serene agricultural landscapes with traditional farms, fields, and local animals.

After exploring the scenic Mykonian countryside, we arrive at the Mykonian Spiti farm. Here, the farm’s superintendent will guide us, offering insights into traditional farming practices. Guests can actively participate in farm tasks and get hands-on experience with tools. This is a unique chance to interact with domestic animals and learn about organic cultivation.
