2 Days Cappadocia Tour from Istanbul

Your adventure kicks off with an early morning pick-up from your hotel at 4:00 am for a transfer to the airport and your flight to Cappadocia. At Istanbul Airport, proceed to the self-check-in kiosks, where you’ll use your passport to retrieve your boarding pass. Once you have it, make your way to the boarding gate.

Upon arrival at Cappadocia Airport, a driver will be waiting for you at the exit of the terminal, holding a sign with your name for easy recognition. From there, you’ll head straight to join the Northern Cappadocia Tour.

The tour begins at Göreme Panorama, where you’ll take in stunning views of Göreme Village and its iconic fairy chimneys. Next, explore the Göreme Open Air Museum, a vast monastery complex carved into the rock, followed by a visit to Ortahisar, a quaint village famed for its towering rock castle and cave storage sites.

Continue to Pasabag, also known as the Fairy Chimney Valley, where you’ll admire the area’s signature mushroom-shaped rock formations. Then head to Devrent Valley, a fascinating site where the natural rock shapes resemble animals and whimsical figures.

At around 10:00-10:15 am, your guide will pick you up from your hotel to embark on the Southern Cappadocia Tour. The journey begins with a visit to Uchisar Castle (viewed from the outside), the tallest fairy chimney that once served as a fortress.

Next, enjoy a scenic 4 km hike through the picturesque Red and Rose Valleys, uncovering hidden rock churches that provided sanctuary for early Christians. Continue to the ancient village of Cavusin, where you’ll explore centuries-old cave dwellings.

After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, head to Ozkonak Underground City, an intricate refuge carved into the earth for those seeking safety from invasions. Then, visit Pigeon Valley, where you can admire stunning views of Uchisar Castle and the iconic pigeon houses carved into the cliffs. Wrap up your tour at Three Beauties Valley, famous for its striking rock formations, vineyards, and postcard-worthy landscapes.
